Within the Klimahafen in Gelsenkirchen, we are developing a green hydrogen plant. This project is part of the German HyPerformer II program.

On a 25,000 square meter site in Gelsenkirchen, we will produce green hydrogen starting in 2028. This will be a production plant consisting of several units with a combined capacity of around 20 MW. 

A filling station for green hydrogen will also rise on the same site, where local buses, trucks and cars can refuel. We also foresee a filling station for tubular trailers, so that we can supply our hydrogen to companies in a radius of 100 kilometers. Indeed, for off-take, we are not only targeting mobility, but also industry. Our implantation within the Klimahafen is therefore ideal: the city of Gelsenkirchen has taken this initiative to make the port and its companies more sustainable. With our green hydrogen, we can contribute to their CO2 reduction.
