VoltH2 achieves ISO 9001 certification

Gerwin Hament, Director of Operations VoltH2, and André Jurres, CEO, with the ISO 9001 certificate achieved

In an era when customer satisfaction and operational efficiency are critical to an organization's success, ISO 9001 provides a guide to achieving good results and maintaining a competitive advantage in the marketplace. ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized quality management standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The initiative for this certificate was taken by Gerwin Hament, Director of Operations. This was not his first attempt: "I had already been through an ISO 9001 process three times before and absolutely wanted the same for VoltH2. Our company has been a forerunner in green hydrogen since the beginning and when we start building and operating our plants, ISO 9001 provides the ideal framework to maintain our favorable position on the market."

VoltH2 is a young company in full growth. This is the ideal time, according to Gerwin Hament: "The procedure obliges you to map out your working method, define your goals,... it covers the operation of the entire company and ensures quality in terms of planning, execution, monitoring and measurement. As a company, you only have one chance to get it right. It is therefore most effective at the start, you can then include the whole company. We have worked extremely hard on this with the entire team. We are now completely ready for the next stages and will let the ISO grow with our activities and the company."
